The purpose of the research work is to develop well-founded recommendations for the improvement of museum affairs in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the effective use of museum institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the educational process of military educational institutions. Obtained results: During the performance of research work, the exposition, stock collections of military museums were analyzed, the results of research and scientific and educational activities of the museums of the Ministry of Defense and a number of other museums regarding the reflection of the history of the Russian-Ukrainian war in 2014-2022 were highlighted. A search, historiographical and source analysis and scientific processing of museological literature on the history of the war in 2014-2022 were carried out. Methodical recommendations for improving the activity of museum institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine were concluded, recommendations were developed for the effective use of museum institutions in the educational process of military educational institutions, and a project of the methodological manual "Coverage of the Russian-Ukrainian War (2014-2021) in the expositions of museum institutions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" was compiled.
