The purpose of the research is to investigate aspects of the impact of different levels of intensification of crop rotation on the water and nutrient regimes of the soil and the phytosanitary state of crops in conditions of unstable moisture. The soil is a typical shallow, low-humus, coarse-dusted, light loamy chernozem. On typical low-humus chernozems in the subzone of unstable moisture of the Left Bank Forest Steppe, the reserves of productive moisture in the 0-50 cm layer of the soil, depending on the predecessors, at the time of vegetation recovery for winter wheat are from 77.2 to 126.4 mm, while at the time of harvesting, these indicators were at the level from 22.4 to 47.5 mm. The nutrient regime of the soil improves by 10–15% under the investigated crops of different rotation crop rotations Multi-rotational (4–8-field) crop rotations with grain saturation from 57.2 to 100% and the use of intensification means provided: four-field grain crop rotations: peas–winter wheat–corn for grain–spring barley under mineral, organo-mineral and organic fertilization systems - collection from 1 ha of arable land: grain - 4.43-4.96 t, fodder units - 8.27-9.26, grain units - 5.93-6.63 and digestible protein - 0.66-0.74 t. The high yield of grain crops of 5.14 t/ha was ensured by a five-field crop rotation: peas–winter wheat–sunflower–spring barley–corn per grain, collection from 1 ha of arable land: grains is 4.11, fodder units – 8.75 , grain units – 6.99 and digestible protein – 0.71 tons. Among the researched models of multi-rotational crop rotations, the highest profit was provided by the 6-field crop rotation: soybeans–winter wheat–sugar beets–spring barley–corn for grain–buckwheat under the organic-mineral fertilization system, where the profit was 33.67 Product Description popup.authors Bakumova Maryna V.
