The purpose of the research is to investigate the peculiarities of changes in the physical and chemical properties of the soil during intensive farming in the agro-landscapes of the Forest-Steppe. Research methods - field experiment, laboratory, analytical, mathematical-statistical, comparative-calculation. The results of the research – in the conditions of the Left Bank Forest Steppe, the highest indicators of humus content and its reserves were determined for shallow disk cultivation of 10–12 cm in a composition with organo-mineral fertilizer. The application of this treatment contributed to the growth of the humus content by 12–24% compared to the control without fertilizers. With No-till technology, the increase in humus was 8–14%, with plowing 12–19%. The peculiarities of changes in the physical and chemical properties of a typical shallow coarse-grained, light-loamy chernozem under cultivation methods: no-till, disking, and plowing technologies were determined. It was determined that plowing, as the main tillage of the soil, has a number of exceptional advantages in favor of No-till technology, disking, - improvement of preservation of agro-physical properties, humus and nutrients content, reasonable protection against the effects of erosion. During plowing, the soil is loose and not over-compacted with the highest content of agronomically valuable soil aggregates in the 0-30 cm layer - 75%, with optimal physico-chemical parameters - humus content 3.4-4.2%, pH-salt 6.1-6 ,4 and Hg 2.4–2.9 m-equiv/100 g of soil with the sum of absorbed bases in GVK 86–91%. Increase in productivity of rural and urban areas. crops of short-rotational crop rotations due to cultivation technology was 0.8–1.2 t/ha. unit.
