The purpose of the research is to determine and justify the priority aspects of the use of bioresources and agricultural technologies in order to effectively implement the bio innovation process and to consider the theoretical and methodological provisions of the concept of the life cycle of bio innovations, and to form scientific and methodological approaches to ecological and economic evaluation. Research methods are dialectical, abstract-logical, economic-statistical. Research is conducted using methodological approaches that are used in international practice, in particular, they must meet the requirements of ISO 17025; as well as according to the scientific publications of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, NSC "Institute of Agrarian Economy" of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, of the National Scientific Agricultural Library. Research results. It is established that: - for the effective implementation of the bio-innovation process and bringing bio-resources and agricultural technologies to the level of bio-innovations, it is necessary to assess their ecological-economic level, taking into account the conditions of functioning, reproduction and development of the ecological-economic system in the long term. - the concept of the life cycle should consist in taking into account all the cumulative effects obtained as a result of the creation and use of bioinnovation (both positive and negative), especially due to environmental factors. Scientific and methodological approaches of ecological and economic security have been formed based on the assessment of the impact of factors of the ecological and economic system (impact on people, impact on natural resources, impact on biological objects of flora, impact on biological objects of fauna, formation of biological pollution).
