Research methods. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the NDR were the works of domestic and foreign scientists on the problems of effective financial control as a means of assessing the state of economic security of enterprises and the possibility of managing it with the help of other forms of control. The following methods were used in the research process: dialectical; graphic; monographic; analytical alignment; economic and mathematical modeling; statistical groupings; index; comparison and detailing. The information base of the study served as legislative and normative acts of Ukraine; orders, reports, and materials of statistical bodies. Processing of experimental data was carried out using a computer and application programs (based on Microsoft Excel). According to the results of the NDR, the theoretical and methodological approaches to the organization and implementation of financial control as a means of ensuring the economic security of business entities are substantiated. An assessment of the current state of financial control was made Ukraine and identify the problems that exist in this area, which made it possible to develop the main organizational and economic directions for ensuring the economic security of economic entities. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the development of a mechanism for the formation of financial control as a means of increasing the economic security of economic entities.
