Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  It was established that original 2D-nanomaterials based on WS2, MoS2 and BN synthesized by improved mechano-chemical method show relatively low cytotoxic action against two variants of Lewis lung carcinoma cells. Original 2D-nanomaterials based on WS2, MoS2 and BN did not lower significantly cytotoxic action of doxorubicin in vitro against Lewis lung carcinoma. This means that original 2D-nanomaterials can be used in combination with chemotherapeutic agents as a specific drug carrier. Commercial analogs of 2D-nanomaterials demonstrate relatively high cytotoxic action against Lewis lung carcinoma cells and human mammary cancer cells along with high toxicity against normal mouse fibroblasts. Sensitivity of triple negative human mammary cancer cells to commercial 2D-nanomaterials was much higher which shows that further research of biomedical application such commercial nanoparticles in oncology may be promising. It was shown that commercial 2D-nanomaterials based on WS2 та MoS2 demonstrate relatively high toxicity against normal mouse fibroblasts cell line 3T3 A31 which can reflect high toxicity against human organism.
