Mutual influence of complex foliar application of proline and GABA was established. It had a positive (synergistic) effect on the plant growth activity and drought resistance or a negative effect (decrease in drought resistance), depending on the concentrations. In addition, reatments in the order of GABA-proline were found to be more effective than proline-GABA. The most effective was the foliar treatment of 0.1 mM GABA + 0.1 mM proline, which stimulated the growth of both species under normal conditions and maximally enhanced their drought resistance. The implementation of the project is directly related to the task of finding new ecologically safe ways to increase the resistance of plants to water deficit.
