The work defines the features of complex economic systems. the concept of modeling complex systems is formulated; the peculiarities of management decision-making in the conditions of digital transformation of the economy were investigated; developed applied models of complex systems using methods of intelligent data analysis; the informational components of the decision-making system support in conditions of digitization are substantiated. In accordance with the set goal, the following tasks were solved in the research work: the peculiarities of the study of economic systems in the conditions of digitalization were determined, the main stages of analysis and modeling of complex economic systems at different levels of the hierarchy were proposed; the concept of modeling complex systems was formed, the methodology of creating conceptual and cognitive models in the conditions of digitization of economic processes was developed, the use of methods of intellectual data analysis was substantiated: evolutionary methods, methods of machine learning and neural networks; practical recommendations for solving applied problems of managing economic processes using economic-mathematical modeling were developed; the system of information support for management decision-making, which is based on the model of safe digitalization, is substantiated.
