Registration Date 01-02-2023 Organization Vinnytsia National Pirogov Memorial Medical University popup.description2 The development of modern and improvement of existing methods of diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of surgical pathology in children is an important aspect of the development of modern pediatric surgery. One of the ways to increase the effectiveness of diagnostic and therapeutic measures in the development of children's surgery is to adhere to a purely individual approach to each patient, especially in cases of multiple malformations and connective pathology, which in the further development and growth of the child's organism transforms into irreversible anatomical and functional consequences. At the same time, diagnosis and treatment should be based on the principles of mini-invasiveness, physiology and minimal trauma, which is achieved by implementing the results of interdisciplinary research into general practice. Modern surgical tactics of diagnosis and treatment are largely based on the use of highly informative diagnostic methods and high-tech methods of pathology correction. The share of pediatric patients with surgical diseases is 5-25% in the general population. The majority of this group consists of children with developmental anomalies or acquired organic changes, which are accompanied by pathological functional disorders. Therefore, the leading methods of treatment are reconstructive - restorative operations and corrective interventions. The problem of surgical treatment of urgent and planned pathology in children remains relevant primarily due to the presence of a significant number of complications in the postoperative period, which significantly worsen the quality of life of patients. The difficulties of adequate social adaptation lead to the need for repeated, and sometimes numerous, staged surgical interventions. In recent decades, there has been a significant increase in attention to such methods of surgical treatment, which allow correction of developmental defects in one step and at the earliest and at the earliest possible age  Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2023-02-01 Close
