L.M. Litvinenko of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  The scientific basis for the synthesis of polymetallic nanostructures based on d-elements decorated with noble metal nanoclusters for their use as catalysts for processes involving hydrogen has been created. In particular, new single- and multi-stage technologies for the synthesis of bimetallic nanopowders of metals of d-elements (Ni-Co) are proposed, which can simultaneously serve as a reducing agent for Ag+, Pd2+, Pt2+, [AuCl4]– ions, and as a ferromagnetic carrier for the corresponding noble metal nanoclusters. The developed scientific principles for obtaining nanopowders based on d-elements (Co, Ni) decorated with noble metals (in particular, Pd) can be implemented at small enterprises in the western region of Ukraine, and the resulting combined functional preparations will be a product with high added value. Thus, the result of the implementation of the project is an increase in the competitiveness and scientific capacity of the Ukrainian industry.
