The purpose of the research is to reveal the regularities and discrepancies in the yield formation of single- and multi-stem varieties of fodder beet under different systems of mineral nutrition and technological methods of cultivation, to establish their influence on the quality indicators of root crops, under conditions of climate change in the northern part of the right-bank forest-steppe of Ukraine. To develop effective resource-saving and sufficiently drought-resistant technologies for fodder beet cultivation. Research methods are field and laboratory with the use of visual, measuring-weighing and calculation, chemical. Research results. It was established that multi-stem varieties of fodder beet prevailed in terms of productivity of single-stem forms, in particular Sonet (Ukraine) and Brigadyr (Germany) varieties, and provided a yield increase of 8-23 t in relation to single-seeded samples. Among multi-stemmed varieties, the Sonet variety (Ukraine) and Brigadyr variety (Germany) stood out with the highest productivity. Against the background of complete mineral nutrition N45Р45К45+ complex of macro- and microelements, these varieties formed the maximum yield of root crops, respectively 94.7 and 85.2 t/ha. Although single-stemmed beetroot varieties were inferior to multi-stemmed ones in terms of yield, the Centaur variety was ahead of them in terms of dry matter content, with the exception of semi-sweet forms (dry matter content reached the level of 12%). The nutritional value of the feed was dominated by monocot varieties, in particular Darina and Rubikon, which formed the crude protein content at the level of 1.3-1.36%.
