For the first time, a number of biologically active film-forming polymer composite materials filled with biocidal silver-containing nanocomposites were developed on the basis of polyurethaneureas, which contain fragments of polyvinyl butyral copolymer, vinyl acetate with vinyl alcohol in their structure, and the relationship between their composition, structure and properties was established. The developed film-forming compositions with a stable antimicrobial effect are proposed for the manufacture of catheters, drains and various film coatings that will ensure the suppression of infection in the product itself and the focus of inflammation. For the first time, on the basis of a mixture of oligoetherurethane diisocyanates of different molecular weight and spatial structure, polyurethane foam compositions with a prolonged therapeutic effect of the antitumor drug dacarbazine were developed, which, due to the combination of their properties, are proposed for use as implants during restorative operations on the orbit and oculoorbital area of the eye during tumor removal. New polyurethane foam composite materials containing the broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug albucid have been developed. The developed polyurethane foam composites with albucid exhibit adhesion, heat resistance and have a microporous structure, are biocompatible, capable of prolonged drug release, which makes them promising materials for use in medical practice, in particular as implants in ophthalmic surgery.
