The purpose of the work: improvement of the method of evaluation of the breeding material of soybeans for stability and plasticity according to the manifestation of macro-characteristics and the creation of high-yielding early-maturing and medium-maturing varieties resistant to abiotic factors. Research methods: hybridization, plant selection, field and laboratory, production testing, statistical analysis. The main results of the research: In the selection nurseries of all levels, the initial selection material was created, which meets the parameters of the task. Breeding numbers were evaluated based on two-year data for economic and valuable characteristics.In the competitive variety test, a number of highly productive selection numbers were selected: ultra-early ripening (2.21-2.56 t/ha), early ripening (3.59-3.83 t/ha) and medium-ripening (3.60-4, 21 t/ha) of selection numbers that exceed the standards for productivity and a combination of economic and valuable traits. The limits of variability of economic and valuable traits in selection numbers in the control nursery were established. In the control nursery, among the selection numbers of all maturity groups, a number of numbers were selected based on the combination of the optimal vegetation period and yield, as well as resistance to lodging and cracking: – 4.10 t/ha -3.60 with a duration of the vegetation period of 121-115 days, a series of ultra - early ripening varieties with a vegetation period of 93-97 days and a yield of 3.02-2.87 t/ha. In the breeding nursery, 34 best breeding forms were selected for their further testing in the breeding and control nurseries. In the reporting year, 20 crossbreedings were carried out under this task. 25 combinations of the first generation and 18 combinations of crossbreeding of the second generation were studied.
