The methodology involves the use of a problem-oriented complex of programs for the construction of discrete models and the numerical solution of composite mechanics problems and parallel algorithmic software for solving a system of linear algebraic equations and a partial generalized algebraic eigenvalue problem for parallel and multi-core computers with graphics accelerators. As part of the computational experiment, a study of the edge effect and near-surface buckling in the structure of composites during their surface compression for cases of perfect and imperfect contact between layers was carried out.
