The subject of the study is methods and means of increasing the reliability of the operation of distribution electric networks with renewable distributed sources of electricity. Research methods. To analyze and solve the set problems, generalized methods of the theory of similarity and modeling were used to obtain an integral indicator of the quality of the operation of the REM with RES, the method of superimposing a direct current of different polarity, and tools of the theory of Markov processes. In the course of the work, 89 scientific papers were published in domestic and foreign publications, including 39 publications based on conference materials. Received 2 patents for inventions. Developed and published 7 training manuals, including 2 training manuals. The results of the work are implemented in the educational process of the department. 4 master's theses were defended. On the basis of theoretical and practical research, a set of training tools for professional training in the field of distributed generation is proposed. The developed algorithms for the analysis of active power losses make it possible to give an assessment of the prospects for the development of RES in a specific electrical network. For the first time, mathematical models of the voltage quality factor and the active power loss factor are proposed as a means of assessing the mode reliability of distribution electric networks. The method of assessing the quality indicator of the functioning of the local electrical system, which allows to take into account the functional readiness to ensure reliable and high-quality electricity supply, has gained further development. A method of applying direct current of different polarity is also proposed.
