The purpose of the work is justification the increase tactical and technical characteristics of military and civilian vehicles to a level that meets and prevails the world, by analyzing the impact on contact interaction, strength, resource and load capacity of discrete and continuous strengthening of their elements. Research methods are: finite element method; method of theory of variational inequalities; method of additional gaps; method of computational and experimental researches. Methods of discrete and continuous strengthening of structural elements of military and civilian vehicles have been developed, which differ from traditional combinations of discrete and continuous strengthening technologies. The regularities of the influence of the shape of the discrete hardening zones and the properties of the corundum layer material between the reinforced bodies on the distribution of the contact pressure and the components of the stress-strain state are determined. Proposals for methods of strengthening the structural elements of military and civilian vehicles are formulated. It is recommended to use the results in the development of technologies for strengthening new and modernizing existing products of military and civilian equipment with improved tactical and technical characteristics.
