The research method is analytical. Adaptation of the developed prototypes of medical-technological standards for the provision of specialized assistance to persons with mental and behavioral disorders due to alcohol consumption was carried out as a result of the analysis of the database on the provision of medical assistance to the specified contingent, which was developed in developed countries on the basis of evidence-based medicine. The examination methods, scope and algorithm for providing narcological assistance to persons with alcohol addiction in states of acute alcohol intoxication, alcohol consumption with harmful consequences, states of alcohol withdrawal according to ICD-10 have been determined, a draft protocol has been developed for the provision of specialized narcological assistance, which is based on the experience of developing domestic clinical protocols and clinical protocols of developed countries (DUODECIM Medical Publications; NICE guideline; standards of quality for services for the treatment of drug addiction and drug addiction treatment of the United Nations, etc.), which made it possible to determine the most promising methods of diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation for creation and adaptation. National clinical protocols for the treatment of persons with alcohol dependence have been created and adapted.
