It has been established that γ-tubulin in the genome of the studied plants is represented by 1-3 paralogous genes containing 10-11 exons. It was possible to reveal a certain intron length polymorphism of Arabidopsis studied samples. Probably, the developed specific primers for the γ-tubulin gene introns can be used not only for the Arabidopsis study, but also for related species of the Cruciferous family. On the example of various Camelina species, it was found that the method of assessing the γ-tubulin gene intron length polymorphism can be useful for genotyping new or checking already classified plant species. A high level of differential ability of the method was proved in the study of interspecific polymorphism in cereals, in particular, sowing rice, common barley, various wheat types and Aegilops. In general, the proposed approach can be used as a highly effective tool for rapid genotyping of the studied species or its use in breeding as useful traits sources in order to improve modern varieties of the corresponding agricultural plants.
