As a result of the conducted research have been determined: 1. The principles of choosing gas slag-forming systems, which ensure satisfactory formation of weld metal at increased depths and satisfactory welding and technological characteristics of the wire. 2. The ways of increasing the stability of the arc combustion during wet underwater welding of the studied steels in sea water at depths of up to 30 meters. 3. The requirements for welding materials, which ensure the possibility of welding highly alloyed corrosion-resistant steels in sea water at depths of up to 30 meters. The research results will form the basis for the further development of welding materials and technology for welding high-alloyed steels in sea salt water.
