The object of the study: the state of the bronchopulmonary system of persons who are suffered of the Chernobyl NPP accident. Retrospective analysis of examination results of 100 people with diseases of the bronchopulmonary system of the main group and 30 people of the nosological control group. Complex clinical and functional pulmonological examination of 35 people who are suffered of the Chernobyl NPP accident and 10 people of the nosological control group. The purpose of the work: to analyze cases of diseases of the bronchopulmonary system in persons who are suffered of the Chernobyl NPP accident and to provide a comprehensive clinical and functional assessment of them. Research methods: generally accepted clinical and laboratory examination methods, functional lung tests, spiral computer tomography of the chest, determination of sleep apnea-hypopnea and night desaturation index with the SOMNOcheck micro device, lung ultrasound, informational and statistical. Retrospective analysis of cases of diseases of the bronchopulmonary system revealed the second stage of broncho-obstructive disorders in 55.3% of people who are suffered of the Chernobyl NPP accident and in 61% of patients in the nosological control group. For further prospective examination, 100 liquidators with COPD and 30 nosological controls were selected. In patients with COPD, liquidators, compared to nosological controls, there is a tendency to a more pronounced violation of the ratio of lung volumes, which indicates more pronounced organic lesions and respiratory disorders due to pulmonary hyperinflation. According to the results of spiral computed tomography of the chest , it was found that 42.9% of liquidators with COPD and 50% of nosological control patients had pulmonary emphysema, and 62.9% had pneumofibrosis and 60%, respectively. Sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome was found in 26.7% of liquidators with COPD. Product Description popup.authors Bazyka Kostiantyn D. Sushko Viktor Shvaiko Liudmyla I.
