The structure of the causes of disability was determined: urolithiasis - 45.0%, polycystic kidney disease - 22.1%, single kidney - 18.8%, hydronephrosis - 15.4%, congenital defects - 12.1% and stricture of the ureter - 4 .7%. During the observation period, the number of persons initially recognized as disabled due to non-oncological urological diseases decreased by 28.8%. The specific weight of the III group increased to 67.8%, the II group decreased (18.1%) while the I group stabilized (14.1%). Applying the approach of prolonging sick leave allowed 12.9% more patients to avoid disability. An organizational and functional model of monitoring of the disabled has been developed for implementation in medical and preventive institutions at the regional level.
