Within the implementation of the scientific topic, a specific fundamental task within the general problem was partially implemented - scientific conferences of various levels were held, focusing the scientific achievements of the members of the department on literary local history. The achievements of modern philological science were expanded and supplemented with little-studied works of Poltava writers, the literary map of Poltava region was supplemented with the names and works of writers of the 19th-21st centuries. A number of forgotten, little-known works of the 20th century, primarily in the diaspora, were analyzed, as well as examples of literature of the "shoted renaissance", which significantly highlight the Ukrainian literary process in general.
