It contains a system of psychological principles and approaches to the forecasting of social processes, and theoretical (social psychological) models built on their basis for developing strategies and technologies for social forecasting. Methodological approaches to socio-psychological forecasting of social processes are developed. A two-level system of methodological principles has been developed, which are the psychological foundations of social forecasting. The system of theoretical provisions and principles of the first order constitutes the methodological basis (systemic conditions) for the development of psychological strategies and technologies for social forecasting. Theoretical provisions and principles of the second order are concretized through the above socio-psychological approaches to the forecasting of social (social-psychological) phenomena and processes. On these methodological foundations, original theoretical (social-psychological) models were elaborated, namely: five-factor prognostic model of social development in the short and medium term; a social development model for forecasting macrosocial processes in the long and long term; a model of social forecasting of the dynamics of value preferences in a crisis society; criteria model for forecasting social cases and situations.
