It has been established that there are 8–21 species in the ichthyofauna of the studied water bodies of urbanized territories. Among the dominant fish, the representatives of pelagials are the most numerous. It was revealed that parasites of 4 taxa are most often recorded on model reservoirs, the definitive hosts of which are birds: Diplostomum sp, Tylodelphys clavatа, Posthodiplostomum cuticola, Apatemon gracilis. It has been established that the species composition, abundance and distribution of waterfowl in water bodies can be used as weighty factors in assessing the ichthyoparasitological situation and predicting the development of zoonoses in complex water bodies. The data obtained can be used in the preparation of monitoring programs necessary to identify the sources of invasion, as well as ways of its spread in the urbanized water bodies of Kyiv.
