The purpose of the work is the search method for spilling and assessing the characteristics of electromagnetic fields in the atmosphere during which dangerous natural hydrometeorological phenomena are observed for the territory of Ukraine in the warm period of the year and the creation of appropriate software protection. Research methods – modern mathematical apparatus, modeling, geo-informational modeling, Python, MATLAB software tools. During the project period, the following were obtained: the results of the analysis of the dynamics of changes in the characteristics of lightning (intercloud and cloud-to-ground) depending on the type of natural phenomena; developed methods for determining dangerous natural weather phenomena (thunderstorms, squalls, heavy downpours, hail) on the territory of Ukraine based on the characteristics of lightning electromagnetic fields. The work has an important socio-economic significance - software tools for identification and ultra-short-term forecast of dangerous natural weather phenomena on the territory of Ukraine based on storm forecasting data will make it possible to warn the population about natural phenomena and thus reduce losses and threats to people's lives.
