Subject of research - Criteria of psychological study in career selection and management systems. The purpose of the research work is to improve the process of staffing the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the basis of professionalism, integrity and legality to ensure personnel security in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Research methods are analysis and synthesis, generalization and systematization, conceptualization, experiment, psychodiagnostic method. The novelty of the work lies in the fact that according to the results of the conducted research work: deepened understanding of the theoretical and psychological principles of loyalty and deviant behavior, as criteria for the psychological study of personnel; Methods for assessing the loyalty and deviant behavior of personnel of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been developed; drafts of Methodological recommendations on the application of methods for assessing loyalty and deviant behavior of personnel in the activities of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were developed; Proposals for the draft order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine "On Amendments to the Instructions for the Organization and Conduct of Professional and Psychological Selection in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Transport Service" were developed.
