The purpose of the research is to assess the possibility of using GETAC T800-EX tablets, SIGMA MOBILE X-TREME PQ29 and IPHONE XS smartphones at mining enterprises in accordance with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on labor protection and industrial safety. Research methods – analysis of regulatory and technical documentation, experimental research. The requirements for the conditions of use of electrical equipment at mining enterprises were analyzed, the technical characteristics and scope of its application were studied. The conditions under which it is possible to use GETAC T800-EX, SIGMA MOBILE X-TREME PQ29 and IPHONE XS equipment at mining enterprises have been determined.As a result of examination of the provided documentation, analysis of regulatory documents and technical review of equipment samples GETAC T800-EX, SIGMA MOBILE X-TREME PQ29 and IPHONE XS, the following was established: – this equipment belongs to portable electrical devices of general purpose and does not have a mining version; – GETAC T800-EX tablets, SIGMA MOBILE X-TREME PQ29 and IPHONE XS smartphones do not have parts that generate a spark in normal operation due to the incorporation of electrical parts into the hermetic shells of their cases; – classification marking of Getac T800-Ex tablets according to ATEX – II 3G Ex is IIС T4 Gс and II 3D Ex is IIIB T130°C Dс, i.e. equipment: designed for ground use; has a "normal" level of explosion protection against gases and combustible dust suspensions - safety is ensured in normal operation mode (explosive conditions "may be accidentally present"); the type of protection is based on limiting the electric energy (power) in the electric discharge and the temperature of the elements of electrical equipment to a value below the level that causes ignition from sparking or thermal exposure; the maximum temperature of the equipment is 1350C; Product Description popup.authors popup.nrat_date 2023-02-07 Close
