The peculiarities of the food supply, diets and reserves of thebasic feed for wild ingulates in the Steppe natural zone were established. The factors that can influence the diet structure during the year and food reserves were determined for Steppe. Sample plots were laid out and fodder trees for ruminants were sampled.
