Subject of research – the current radiological state of agricultural lands on the territory of ZB(O)V and the possibility of returning them to economic use. A detailed radiological survey of agricultural lands located in the ZB(O)V near the villages of Osyka, Mezhiliska, Bazar, Khristynivka and Narodychi was carried out, totaling about 1,950 hectares, of which 190 hectares are meadows and pastures. A detailed measurement of the power of the ambient equivalent dose of gamma radiation was carried out, and in parallel, combined soil-plant samples were taken, in which the content of 137Cs and 90Sr was measured. The results of the measurements are entered in the created register of agricultural lands of the State Board of Agriculture. On the basis of these results, correlation dependences between PAED and 137Cs contamination density and between 137Cs contamination density and 90Sr contamination density were obtained. Also, based on the statistical analysis of long-term measurements of 90Sr, 238Pu and 239,240Pu in soil samples, an algorithm was developed for obtaining express estimates of the density of soil contamination with plutonium isotopes of Chernobyl origin (238,239,240Pu). Detailed maps of the density of 137Cs and 90Sr contamination of surveyed agricultural lands of ZB(O)V were constructed. The coefficients of the transition to meadow forbs were estimated for the real conditions of the examined meadows and pastures. On the basis of the obtained results, a probabilistic prediction of the content of 137Cs and 90Sr in the harvest of test crops in the fields near the villages of Osyka, Mezhiliska, Bazar, Khristynivka, and Narodychi was carried out, as well as the possible value of the specific activity of 137Cs and 90Sr in milk and meat when using meadows and pastures was estimated near the village of Narodichi for grazing and harvesting hay.
