Today, climate change processes are of particular importance for the adaptation of agricultural production in Ukraine and should include a number of features, such as: formation of an effective structure of land use systems; the structure of cultivated areas and increasing the role of crop rotation; use of water resources and melioration systems; increased attention to forest improvement measures. It is inevitable to improve the management model of the low-carbon development of the agro-industrial complex, which should include: the introduction of environmental requirements for providing state support to the agro-industrial complex; strengthening and improvement of regulatory requirements, information provision, support for the development of the ecological and economic mechanism for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and the release of carbon units with the improvement of indicators of agro-industrial products. According to the forecasts of Ukraine's low-carbon development strategy until 2050, carbon emissions in 2050 will be 31% of the 1990 level (approximately equal to the current level), while the EU intends to become completely climate neutral by then, completely transitioning to low-carbon land use . Increasing the ecological and economic indicators of low-carbon agricultural development is a common challenge for Ukraine and the EU, since the consumption and sale of agricultural products in Ukraine constitutes the lion's share of the national economy.
