A new mathematical model of the information system "background-target environment - two-channel OESDR" has been created. The model takes into account both energy parameters and spatial-frequency aspects of signal transformation in the tracts of the remote monitoring information complex and is compatible with the current standards STANAG 4347, STANAG 4349, STANAG 4351. A new method of calculating the range of detection and recognition of objects with given probabilities in two-channel OESDR is proposed. On the basis of the modern calculation model NVThermIP, a method for evaluating the quality of complex images has been created, which makes it possible to design and analyze OESDR with parallel and serial information fusion with or without taking into account visual perception. A laboratory model of a two-channel OESDR consisting of television and thermal imaging channels was created, which made it possible to investigate the proposed methods of signal processing. An adaptive algorithm for information fusion of the OESDR spectral channels is proposed. It depends on the current task, observation conditions, and the type of phono-target situation. The fundamental possibility of using coherent-optical processors to speed up information processing in OESDR is shown. Coherent-optical analyzers can be used, for example, to obtain spatial-frequency spectra of images in spectral channels when determining the system quality indicator.
