The subject of research is an experimental sample of a thermoelectric device for the destruction of oncological neoplasms. The object of research is the parameters of a thermoelectric heater-cooler to achieve optimal temperature modes for tumor destruction. The purpose of the research work is to develop and create an experimental sample of a thermoelectric device for the destruction of oncological neoplasms. Research methods include mathematical physics methods for determining the distribution of physical fields in the biological tissue of the human body and in the working tool of a thermoelectric device, object-oriented computer simulation of thermal processes, calculation methods, experimental methods of thermoelectricity and thermophysics. With the aid of computer simulation, temperature distributions in different layers of the skin in cooling and heating modes were determined when the temperature of the working tool changes according to a predetermined law in the temperature range [-50 ÷ +50] °C. The obtained results make it possible to predict the depth of freezing and warming of biological tissue at a given cyclic temperature effect. An optimal design has been developed and an experimental sample of a thermoelectric device for the destruction of oncological neoplasms has been manufactured, and the device has been tested in real conditions. Preliminary experimental tests of the device showed that its parameters correspond to the declared technical requirements. The effectiveness of the use of this device in medical practice has been confirmed, which makes it possible to create a cyclic temperature effect on the tumor in the temperature range [-50 ÷ +50]°C Product Description popup.authors Vikhor Lyudmyla M.
