The cognitive-discursive paradigm highlighting the role of the human factor in language, proclaims the need to study not so much the language itself, but the person who uses the language. The central concept of this paradigm is the concept of speaker/writer. In recent years, along with the term "linguistic personality", the terms "discursive personality" and "communicative personality" have become increasingly common, which require careful attention. Research from the semiotic approach corresponds to the principles of consideration of the very nature of language, discourse and the digital reality in which these strategically significant phenomena coexist in the latest years of man’s life in the 21st century. Among the questions that arise in the process of studying the interaction of language and culture, the peculiarities of the formation of national-cultural attitudes and the reasons for the emergence of national-cultural stereotypes of consciousness are among the most significant and relevant.
