Obtained and generalized results make it possible to establish the mechanism of intensification of processes sealing and strengthening powder steels with increased impact strength. A mechanism has been investigated for intensifying the speed and degree of compaction of powder compacts during sintering, which makes it possible to control the main processes of the technology of injection molding of powder steels by choosing the average particle size of iron powder and ligatures, their particle size distribution, the density of compacts, and parameters of the sintering process and stress-strain state on the stage of formation of developed contacts between particles, the strength of which exceeds the stresses created by capillary pressure. It has been established that the formation of contacts between powder particles at the first stage of sintering at a temperature of 0.25-0.3 from the melting temperature of iron ensures the formation of stresses in the compact material, which consist of the action of capillary pressure forces and intensify the rate and degree of compaction and the growth of coherent scattering regions.
