The object of research is long-term engineering products with coatings, in particular, with non-smooth or helical surfaces, which are operated in aggressive and abrasive-containing environments under dynamic load. The work aims to develop a new environmentally friendly technology of electrochemical application of chromium coating in a flowing electrolyte on longdimensional steel parts. Research methods — a systematic approach, methods of mathematical and computer modeling, as well as conducting a laboratory experiment. The technological support for electrochemical chromium plating of steel long parts with a complex surface topology in a flowing electrolyte was developed; the composition of the electrolyte based on non-toxic trivalent chromium compounds was selected; the movement of the electrolyte in the electrochemical cell was investigated; and the method of composite chromium plating with the inclusion of nanoparticles was developed. The approaches of contact interaction mechanics and fracture mechanics have been adapted to the modeling of coatings. The stress distribution in the chrome coating was studied and the permissible load value was determined. The results of the study of the contact interaction of a coaxially open shell and a chrome-plated barrel with an elastomeric filler are presented. Dependencies for determining the main operating characteristics of the damping device were obtained. A scheme for recycling the chromium electrolyte has been developed. The application of the developed technology of chromium plating in the flowing electrolyte during the restoration of worn and new steel parts will make it possible to increase the wear resistance and extend the service life of machine-building products, thereby reducing Ukraine's dependence on imports and improving the environmental condition of the environment Product Description popup.authors Ivanov Olexandr Oleksandrovich Burda Myroslav Yosypovych Velychkovych Andrii S Vytvytskyi Vasyl S Vyshnepolskyi Yevhen Valeriyovych Drach Ilona V.
