The object of research are the processes of electricity transmission in the power grid from the power supply system to the load - electric machines, through power transmission lines and power transformers. To solve the task in the work, it is suggested to perform the following main stages: - Analysis of existing mathematical models of electrical network elements, taking into account their asymmetry: electric machines, power transmission lines and power transformers. With the help of this analysis, establish the shortcomings of the currently available technical solutions in this topic. – Determination of the main ways to improve mathematical models of electrical network elements. – Improvement of mathematical models of electrical network elements taking into account their asymmetry. – Obtaining equations that describe the current state of electrical network elements. – Construction of an improved mathematical model of the electrical network section. - Justification of the feasibility of the proposed equations of the power grid elements. - Carrying out a comparative analysis of switching transient overvoltages with various schemes for replacing elements of power networks. Implementation of the received theoretical provisions for the analysis of overvoltage values in operating electrical networks. Comparative analysis of the obtained data.
