The purpose of the work is to develop the "Degassing project of the excavation area 184 lava of the C6 formation" for the «Stepova» mine of PSD "MINE MANAGEMENT «PERSHOTRAVENSKE» PJSC "DFEK Pavlohradvugillya". Research methods - generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematics. statistics, calculations according to standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining-geological and mining-technical characteristics of the excavation site 184 of lava of the C6 formation were analyzed. The calculation of the expected release of methane within the excavation site 184 lava of the C6 layer, the air consumption for ventilation of the treatment production and excavation site, the parameters and mode of degassing by wells was performed. The "Project of degassing of the excavation area 184 lava of layer C6" was developed.
