The processes of selective laser sintering and melting in SS316L stainless steel matrix composites with inclusions of tungsten carbide were optimized. It has been established that a non-porous product can be obtained only if the liquid metal exists for a sufficient time to fill the largest pores in the bulk. This time increases with an increase in the concentration of ceramic inclusions both due to an increase in the effective viscosity of the metal and the maximum pore size. The injection molding process was analyzed using computer modeling methods. In particular, the filling of the cavity of the molds for the production of products in the form of a solid ball, a ball with an axial cylindrical hole, an orifice and a funnel was analyzed, and correlation dependences were established for a thermoplastic mass based on aluminum nitride powder. The time of filling the mold was determined depending on the characteristic diameter of the product and the length of the weld lines and the effective viscosity of the thermoplastic mass. An analysis of shrinkage processes and evolution of pore and grain microstructure during sintering of granulated tungsten powders was carried out. The influence of the original components and additional niobium doping on the consolidation, structure and mechanical properties of alloys based on γ-TiAl was studied.
