Planning of generation capacity development at the current stage of technological changes in power generation requires new tools for modeling of load-loading regimes of power equipment. To ensure adequate modeling of power systems, a model of equipment dispatch with cyclic forecast period has been developed, which is integrated into the model of planning of generating capacities development. The report presents the developed models of forecasting the development of generating capacities, volumes of electricity generation of the SEU and WEIGHT, generation of reserves of generating capacities and power-generating capacities to ensure reliability of the power system. Representative models of power plants WT and SEU and load models of power units of the NPP and power generating units of energy storage systems are presented, which together solve the problem of adequacy of modeling of power systems in modern conditions of development of VDE. The task of modeling the equilibrium market state "on the day before" is formulated as a non-linear task, which is presented in the form of a parametric problem of mixed whole-number linear programming. The method of solving the formulated problem is described and the high speed algorithm developed on its basis is shown. Systems of support of decision making with developed means of object-oriented modeling (processes of functioning of the subjects of complex organizational and technical systems with the purpose of forming a unified database structure at creation of unified model user environment are presented. Theoretical and applied tasks of development of modern means of information and technological support of computer modeling systems in electric power engineering are considered.
