The purpose of the research is to assess the compliance of submersible slurry pumps SP-45 with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on labor protection and industrial safety and to determine the scope of their application at mining enterprises. Research methods – analysis of literary sources and technical documentation for submersible slurry pump SP-45. An analysis of the requirements for the types and parameters of mine pumps was carried out, the technical characteristics and scope of application of SP-45 slurry pumps were studied. The compliance of submersible slurry pumps SP-45 with the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on labor protection and industrial safety was assessed and the scope of their application at mining enterprises was determined. It has been established that SP-45 submersible slurry pumps meet the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on labor protection and industrial safety (Law of Ukraine "On Labor Protection" dated 14.10.1992 No. 2694-XII (current version dated 18.11.2011).0). -10 "Safety Rules in Coal Mines" and can be used in mines with gas or dust hazards to remove mine water from the mine workings.
