During the implementation of the second stage of the NTR, tribotechnical tests of the obtained coatings were carried out under the conditions of sliding friction without lubrication and fretting corrosion. The stability of coatings based on (Ti, Cr)C with a Ni content of 17, 25, and 33 wt.% was studied, depending on the friction speed and load. The friction surfaces of the samples were studied and the wear mechanisms of coatings of different compositions were determined. It was established that increasing the Ni content in powders for sputtering helps to increase the wear resistance of coatings and reduce their friction coefficients with increasing speed and load in friction-sliding conditions without lubrication.
