Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2  It was found that in 60% of patients with metastases, the tumors invaded >1/2 of the myometrium and 50.0% had a low degree of differentiation. In patients with metastases, a population of aneuploid cells was observed in 20% of EС. Such carcinomas were characterized by hyperexpression of K-ras, ATR and CHK1 at the mRNA and protein levels, a high proliferation index compared to these indicators in diploid tumors of patients with metastases. A low (9.0, 16.0, and 14.0 times, respectively) expression level of K-ras, ATR, and CHK1 was detected in the tumors of patients without metastases than in patients with metastases. A high correlation was determined between the level of mRNA expression: K-ras (R=0.89 p<0.05), ATR (R=0.91 p<0.05) and CHK1 (R=0.87 p<0.05) and the presence of metastases. High expression of molecular markers associated with replicative stress, which determines such indicators of aggressiveness as aneuploidy, high proliferative, invasive potential, and the presence of metastases, was found in EС patients with the stage I of the tumor process.
