The object of research is biomedical images. The purpose of the work is the development and software implementation of parallelization of image segmentation algorithms and their parameters. The field of application is automatic systems for the diagnosis of breast cancer. Research methods: computer vision methods, neural network theory methods, computer modeling methods. The components of a high-performance computer system for processing biomedical images have been developed: a model for processing biomedical images, a layer-parallel algorithm for automatic selection of segmentation algorithms, convolutional network architecture, algorithms for segmentation of biomedical images. Main characteristics of the developed software: Java programming language, Intellij IDEA development environment, OpenCV computer vision algorithm library, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. The composition of the image input subsystem hardware: TCA-10 digital video camera, Bresser microscope. The main characteristics of the TCA-10 camera: signal-to-noise ratio of 40 dB, dynamic range of 60 dB, image resolution of 3264x2448. Implementation of the developed system in clinical practice, for scientific research in morphology will increase the productivity of the pathologist's diagnostic process and reduce the subjectivity and laboriousness of the analysis of biomedical images.
