A method of obtaining nano-sized structured electrocatalysts and obtaining their samples has been developed. Catalytically active 3D electrodes based on semiconducting oxides of transition metals in systems with a matrix mediator electrolyte were created. In order to increase the selectivity and resolution and reduce the cost of the sensors being created, a complex of theoretical and experimental studies of the kinetics of redox reactions and mass transfer in electrochemical systems is carried out. A method of experimental studies of the kinetics of electrode processes and an experimental setup for determining the overvoltage of the main and side electrochemical reactions on 3D electrodes with oxide compositions have been developed. Research protocols for electrochemical systems with NO oxidation mediator were obtained. Samples of electrochemical sensors for the selective determination of NO in complex gas environments were produced and their test protocols with both a mediator and a compensation electrode were provided.
