The purpose of the work is to forecast the development of the onco-epidemiological process in Ukraine for the period up to 2030; analysis of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on morbidity and mortality from malignant neoplasms. Analysis of the incidence of malignant neoplasms in 2010-2020 established a significant decrease in the incidence in 2020 - by 18.3% in men and 16.7% in women - to the level characteristic of the 1980s; a significant decrease occurred in all age groups of the population, except for the group of 0-19 years. The most significant - by a third - incidence rate decreased in persons aged 75+ years, in persons of working age 20-59 years - by 18-21%, least significantly - by 11-12% - in persons aged 60-74 years. Among structural and nosological forms of cancer, the number of non-melanoma malignant neoplasms of the skin decreased by more than a third, by 20-23% – malignant neoplasms of the stomach and lungs in persons of both sexes, by about 20% in malignant neoplasms of the kidney, larynx, bladder in men, thyroid gland by about 20% and cervix in women, and malignant neoplasms of the pancreas in persons of both sexes, colorectal cancer in men, malignant neoplasms of the body of the uterus and ovary in women decreased by 7-12%. The monthly fluctuations in the incidence of malignant neoplasms in 2020 coincide with the calendar of restrictions on the work of medical institutions due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
