The purpose of the work is to carry out experimental and computational studies of the effect of standard petroleum fuel modified with nano-additives on the economic and environmental indicators of a diesel engine. Research methods are experimental and analytical. The publications on the problem under consideration were analyzed. Bench engine studies of operational indicators of a diesel engine using standard petroleum fuel and modified with different concentrations of nano-additives were carried out. Obtained economic and environmental indicators of the engine using modified fuel with a volume concentration of nano-additives of 1, 3 and 5 ml/l and compared them with similar indicators obtained at identical engine load modes and using regular fuel. The results of the work are transferred to the customer to check the conformity of the influence of nano-additives laid down by the developer on the motor properties of standard petroleum fuel and the performance indicators of the diesel engine.
