The object of the research is the system of training occupational therapists of the first (bachelor's level) in institutions of higher education. The purpose of the work is the scientific substantiation of the organizational-methodical, psychological and pedagogical conditions for improving the training of specialists in occupational therapy of the first (bachelor's level). Research methods – scientometric analysis of modern provisions of the theoretical and methodological foundations of training specialists in occupational therapy of the first (bachelor's level). The analysis of literary sources shows that there is a great need for well-trained occupational therapists in Ukraine, as a significant part of the Ukrainian population faces physical, mental or social challenges. From today's point of view, the improvement of the current legal and educational documentation regarding the training of future specialists in occupational therapy in higher education institutions of Ukraine with the preservation of previous achievements and peculiarities of national traditions and taking into account the acquired experience is relevant. Methodological approaches to the problem of forming the professional identification of future occupational therapy specialists in the content dimension should be determined in the context of both philosophical ideas and pedagogical concepts and theories. The application of the epistemological approach in the formation of the professional identity of the future occupational therapist involves the use of basic methods of scientific knowledge. In the future, it is planned to study the peculiarities of methodological approaches in the formation of an occupational therapist in a higher education institution. Keywords.
