A new multilayer metal-dielectric nanostructure characterized by a narrow angular response of the reflection coefficient is proposed. Conditions for the existence of narrow spectral-angular resonances, the optical fields of which are localized in the last dielectric layer, and relatively wide Tamm resonances, the fields of which are localized at the metal-dielectric interface, have been found. One-dimensional resonant structures for the creation of highly sensitive refractive sensors were calculated and manufactured. The transverse dynamics of the optical field created in a single-frequency laser with a moderate Fresnel number was studied. The existence of vortex clusters that constantly rotate spontaneously in a laser with a frequency-degenerate cavity is numerically and experimentally demonstrated in a laser-like two-wave mixing photorefractive oscillator with a cavity and controlled aperture flat mirror. The observed rotational dynamics of two-, three-, and four-vortex clusters is explained within the general model of nonlinear structure formation. An algorithm for the synthesis of intra-resonator two-dimensional phase diffraction elements for the formation of laser beams with a given spatial distribution of intensity has been developed.
