Species and varietal testing of collection samples of B. sarinata was carried out. The studied genotypes formed a high yield of above-ground mass (165-465 g, n=10) and seeds (30-45 g, n=10). It was determined that the seeds of plants are characterized by a high content of oil (44.99-52.82%), protein (28.03-32.26%) and energy value (5104-5976 kcal/kg). The effect of exogenous 28-homocastasterone was studied - it was established that this substance contributed to a significant increase in the number of seeds from one plant in the studied varieties. The weight of a thousand seeds of mustard plants of the yellow variety "Tavria" prevailed over that of mustard plants of the white variety "Etalon" in all the investigated variants. The action of 28-homocastasterone reliably increased this parameter in both varieties of mustard plants grown under normal conditions, and contributed to the partial recovery of seed weight, which was reduced under salt stress conditions in both varieties of mustard. The obtained data indicate that 28-homocastasterone stimulates growth processes and productivity in oil plants under normal growth conditions, and also causes the activation of specific systems and defense mechanisms in the cells of these plants, which contributes to the formation of resistance to stress. The three most productive strains of microalgae were selected: Enallax costatus (Schmidle) Pasch. 342, Desmodesmus brasiliensis (Chodat) E. Hegew. 802 and Desmodesmus multivariabilis var. truskensis 399, which are recommended for further biotechnological research as promising biomass producers for biodiesel production.  Product Description popup.authors Yemets Alla I.
