The study used that 4.2% of pulmonary TB patients are carriers of pathological genotypes of both GST gene isoforms. In the presence of a mutation of the GSTM1 isoform (GSTT1+ / GSTM1 0/0), adverse reactions are likely to be registered more often (p=0.04). Toxic-allergic side reactions were observed in all carriers of mutant genotypes for both genes (GSTT1 0/0 / GSTM1 0/0). Improving diagnosis of TB/DM comorbidity and assessment of pathogenetic features of syntropia, made it possible to assess the prognostic impact of diabetes on the frequency and development of resistant tuberculosis and to predict the main risks of pharmacological correction of both diseases.
